See that title for more information. Miss Clark was a childhood friend of Caroline C. Richards (author of the above listed title). According to the 1860 census Abbie was likely a member of the Clark family of Canandaigua which consisted of parents, Myron H. Clark and Zilpha Clark and children, Zilpha, Lottie, Mary, Abbie and Michael. There is also a photo of her sister Zilpha posted here on deadfred.com. Abbie married a man named Captain Williams in the Congregational Church in Canandaigua on 28 June 1866.
