Martha was born on 6 Sep 1882 in Richfield, Sevier County, Utah. She died on 18 Apr 1962 in Homedale Idaho. Martha married John Flanders on 12 Jul 1901 and they had another little child, Christianne Eldora Flanders. John died in a tragic logging accident and Martha Marie later married Lewis Waldmer Mortensen who adopted both children and raised them as his own. They took the surname of Mortensen. Little Emery was born on 15 September 1900 in Sweetgrass Montana.
