The 1870 census of Ogdensburg lists
"Olde, Edward H., 46, photographist, owns house, b. NY";
"Mary Olde, 38, keeps house, b. NY";
"Edward D. Olde, 22, musician, b. NY"
"Mary Olde, 13, at home, b. NY"
A search of the 1872 and 1879 Ogdensburg shows:
"EH Olds, photographer, house 115 Caroline St. Ogdensburg" his wife would not be listed separately but older teens/adult children would.
1872 says "May Olds" and 1879 says "Mary Olds" and "E.D. Olds" boarding with EH, and they are both listed as musicians by 1879.
My best guess is that this photo is of the younger Mary, daughter of the photographer.
