Comments: Elizabeth Eleanor Dudley (Nee: Cullen) | Beverly MA United States | 1851-1900 | Comments: I have an old studio photograph of Bessie Eleanor CULLEN which was taken at the Alley Studio in Beverly, MA. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's with Bessie appearing to be about 3 years old at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Bessie and her family:
Elizabeth “Bessie” Eleanor CULLEN was b. 11 Dec 1891 in Beverly, MA to parents Stephen Edgar CULLEN (1857-1913) and Mary Ella or Ellen MOWATT (1860-1929) who were married 29 Apr 1884 in Beverly, MA. Bessie had one sibling, a brother Fred Sterns or Stearns CULLEN (b. 1887). Bessie married George Henry DUDLEY (1889-1979) on 14 Dec 1911 in Beverly, MA and they had three children including Ruth Bernice; Harrison Archer; and Stephen Edgar DUDLEY, all born between 1912 and 1917. Bessie died 29 Dec 1975 in Leicester or Haverhill, MA and is buried in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Leicester, MA.
