Comments: Myra Burbridge Keeler (Nee: Keller) | St. Joseph MO United States | 1851-1900 | Comments: I have two old studio photographs belonging to the KELLER Family of Missouri and Colorado. The first is a photograph of Myra B. KELLER which was taken at the Uhlmak Studio in St. Joseph, MO, most likely in the 1890's with Myra identified as being 9 years old at the time. The photo of Myra appears to have been a gift to Marjorie MILLER whose name is written on the front of the photograph.
The second photograph is identified as Beck KELLER and was taken at the A. E. Rinehart Studio in Denver, CO. This photograph was taken in the 1880's with Beck appearing to be in her 20's or 30's at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding these KELLER Family members:
Myra Burbridge KELLER was b. 16 Oct 1885 in Lexington County, MO to parents Meyer KELLER (1863-1885 died before Myra was born) and Emma B. BURBRIDGE (b. 1864) who were married 20 May 1884 in Lafayette County, MO. Her mother remarried after the death of her first husband to Matthew Fleming MYERS (1851-1909) and they had a son, Shannon B. MYERS (1889-1917).
Myra married Donald Gray KEELER (1884-1967) on 31 Dec 1908 in Los Angeles County, CA. Myra died 5 Dec 1973 in Los Angeles, CA and is buried in the Inglewood Park Cemetery in Inglewood, CA.
Myra’s father Meyer KELLER had a sister Rebecca “Beck” E. KELLER b. Aug 1853 in Pennsylvania to parents Marx or Mark E. KELLER (1838-1892) and Mary Amelia or Emilie or Amelie SCOTT (1827-1889). Meyer and his sister Beck were two of the 10 children born to this couple including Hannah “Anna”; Isadore or Isador; Rebecca “Beck” E.; Pauline K.; Samuel “Sam” S.; Augusta “Gussie” Ester; Hattie; Tilley; Meyer; and Abraham “Abe” or “Abie” KELLER, all born between 1850 and 1865.
Beck married Moses LONDONER (1847-1906) on 22 Jul 1873 in Lafayette County, MO and they had three children including Amy Rebecca LONDONER (1875-1951); Blanche M. LONDONER CRUSE (1878-1948); and W. F. LONDONER. Beck died on 25 Sept 1912 in New York, NY (while living in the Endicott Hotel in Manhattan) and is buried in the Congregation Emanuel Cemetery in Denver, CO.
I’d like to get these photographs to a family member and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.
Thanks,
Shelley
