Comments: Anna Marie Alexandria Ericsson (Nee: Anderson) | Portland OR | 1851-1900 | Comments: I have two photographs belonging to the ERICSSON Family of Portland, Oregon. The first is a photograph of Annie ERICSSON which was taken at the Towne Studio in Portland, OR in the 1880's with Annie likely in her teens or 20's at the time it was taken. The second photograph is identified as "Grandpa ERICSSON" and was taken in the 1880's as well at the Partridge Studio in Portland, OR with the man in his teens or 20's at the time it was taken. I believe that these are photographs of Charles A. ERICSSON and his wife Annie ANDERSON ERICSSON.
Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Annie and Charles as follows:
Anna “Annie” Marie Alexandria ANDERSON was b. 17 Feb 1863 in Norrkoping, Sweden and she married Charles Alfred ERICSSON (1864-1907) in 1888. Annie died 22 Sept 1939 in Portland, OR and she is buried in the River View Cemetery in Portland as well. Annie was living at 131 NE Tillamook when she died and her obituary lists her survivors including children Mrs. Esther Caroline ERICSSON DUNCAN; Mrs. Elsa “Elsie” R. ERICSSON LEUFQUIST; Daniel “Dan” H. ERICSSON; and Joseph “Joe” McKinley ERICSSON all of Portland, OR; along with sisters Mrs. Hulda BLEID and Miss Tecla ANDERSON both of Portland, OR. Charles Alfred ERICSSON was b. 1864 and he died 30 Dec 1907 in Portland, OR and is also buried in the River View Cemetery in Portland along with his wife.
I am hoping to see the photographs returned to their family and would appreciate you reaching out to me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be related.
Thanks,
Shelley
