Comments: Dorothy Lois Wiemann (Nee: Wiemann) | Memphis TN | 1901-1920 | Comments: I have an old postcard photograph of Dorothy Lois WIEMANN which was taken when she was 9 months old and weighed 21 lbs. Dorothy's birthdate is noted as 27 Jun 1913. There is no studio or location indicated on the photograph, however based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Dorothy and her family: Dorothy Lois WIEMANN was b. 27 Jun 1913 in Memphis, TN to parents Henry William August WIEMANN or WIEMAN (1887-1957) and Ida Pauline NIEMAN (1887-1972) who were married 18 Oct 1911 in McCracken Co., KY. Dorothy was one of 5 children born to this couple including Dorothy Lois; Marjorie Annette; Frances Irene; Virginia Catherine; and Henry William WIEMANN Jr., all born between 1913 and 1922. Dorothy died 2 Dec 1988 and is buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah, KY. It doesn’t appear that Dorothy married or had any children.
