Margaret moved quite often with her family as her father was a teacher that taught in several schools. Margaret married Rev. Brenton Hamline Badley (1849-1891) on 08 Aug 1892. Shortly after their marriage, they traveled to Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India where their first 5 children were born: Ernest Vernon (1873-1940), Arthur Scott (1874-1875), Brenton Thoburn (1876-1949), Louis Cary (1877-1878), and Theodore C (1879-1965). After leaving India (sometime between 79 and 1885), they lived in California when their daughter, Mary Celeste was born (1885-1935). The family then moved back to India where their last child was born: Rex Rutherford Badley (1888-1945). Brenton Badley died 20 Nov 1891 while in India; Margaret then moved the family and resided in Manhattan, NY (1900), Johnson, MO (1910), and Okmulgee, OK where she died 11 Jan 1913.
