Comments: Mrs George Beaty (Nee: unknown) | Lamberton MN | 1851-1900 | Comments: My mom wrote "Mrs. George Beaty" on it, and the photographer is Paul Oleson of Lamberton, MN. It's possible my family had the photo because my grandmother sewed wedding dresses for many people and had photographs of them.
There are 2 Census listings for a George Beaty in Lamberton, a possible 3rd George A. Beaty marriage record and a George Beaty child's death record.
George A. Beaty, a laborer at the Lamberton, MN lumber yard in 1920, was born in 1880 in Minnesota. He was married to Magretta Beaty (born in Wisconsin) and had a daughter named Viola. I've looked at the original document and believe the written name is actually Murietta. Magretta is the transcribed version. A 1914 infant death record (Ora Beaty) in Lamberton lists George Beaty as father and Marietta Robertson as mother. Another version of the same infant's death lists the mother's name as Moiulta Robertson.
George Beaty, a drayman in Lamberton in 1910, was born in Iowa. He was married to Hattie who was born in Germany. George's brother Fred lived with them and was a clerk in a grocery store.
A 1912 marriage record in Redwood County, MN shows a George A. Beaty marrying a Marie Hall.
It's hard to know who is who. I think Magretta, Murietta, Moiulta, Marrietta and Marietta are the same person.
I also have an obituary for a Mrs George Beatty.
