Ida was born in 1859 in Good Hope, Cumberland, Pennsylvania to Samuel Saul Seirer and Catherine Spong. When a teen, her family moved to Wilson, Ellsworth, Kansas. She met and married Allen B. Cross, had 6 children, and died in 1915 in Kansas. The photo album is likely friends and family from Pennsylvania, many unidentified, who she may have kept in touch with.
