Comments: MARY E KNIGHT (Nee: BOOTH) | FL USA | 1901-1920 | Comments: Mary Ellen Knight, age 93, passed away of natural causes on July 29, 2009. She was a lifelong resident of Lakeland and a homemaker. Predeceased by husband Homer Brooker Knight Sr. in 1986, whom she married in Pasco Co. in 1940, son Homer Brooker Knight Jr. and daughter Cheryl Kelly. Survivors include her son Glenn V. Knight and wife Ann; son-in law Bill Kelly, daughter-in-law Christina Knight; sisters: Florida Rusin and Virginia Moore; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 1:30-2:30 pm with funeral services at 2:30 pm on Friday, July 31st at Wells Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Oaklawn West Cemetery.
