Comments: Donald Woodward (Nee: ) | Sherbrooke Hatley, Quebec Canada | 1851-1900 | Comments: Donald Woodward, uncle of Edwin J. Woodward the third. He enlisted with the army corps of engineers, and was stationed on the western front. He was a very patriotic individual, and was well spoken of for saving men while under fire. He was shot through the shin, but put mud on it without telling anyone afraid he'd be sent home with a Purple Heart.Spoke that he saw the BlackDeath at war. Was easy going, and made many friends.
In his declining years he moved with Edwin and Carolyn Woodward to NH
