Comments: Harry Ralph HOOVER (Nee: TOMBSTONE) | FL | | Comments: Harry Ralph HOOVER was born on 26 December 1894 to Charles Arthur and Minnie Mae ACKLEY Hoover, in Watkins Glen, Schuyler County, New York. Harry married Bertha M. (maiden name unknown) about 1916. They had two children, a son and a daughter. Harry and Bertha resided in Ithaca, Tompkins County, NY, for much of their lives before apparently retiring to Broward County, Florida, where Bertha died in January 1975 and Harry followed her in death in February of 1979. They are buried and share a headstone in Broward County’s Lauderdale Memorial Park. A photo of the complete headstone can be found on this web site, ID # 70021.
