Dead Fred's Genealogy Photo Archive, a free, fun photo genealogy research web site devoted to helping you visualize your heritage!

Dear readers,

Please help us keep DeadFred alive. 90% of our expenses are supported by donations averaging $5. Not many visitors contribute. If each visitor reading this right now gave $2, our fundraiser would be done by the time you finish reading this. That's right, the price of a large can of soda would do it.

If DeadFred is helpful to you, please take a moment to help us. We are a very small group of volunteers serving thousands of readers daily with very little outside support. DeadFred is a place to share and discover the faces of your ancestors. The funds we receive go toward maintaining and improving your chances of discovery. Please help us so we can continue to help you.

Thank you,
Joe Bott

The Lancaster New Era featured an article called "Doc" Krise as One of Schools All-Around Athletes." Uncle Charley Mayser, a coach, was quoted as saying, "The biggest picture on the wall is that of the 1925 football team, which the good professor tutored...." "See that guy up there in the front row, that's Charley Krise, and take it from me, anybody who wants to talk about the so-called great athletes around here better include him on their list." He went on to describe how Doc also joined the wrestling team.
