Pete lived in NY until 1971, moving to Waverly and studying art at CCB and Morgan State U. He joined an art collective, exhibiting his work for many years in various functions, including as scenery in the film "Girl Interrupted." He also designed the cover for book "Texas in the Morning." He opened his own gallery called SubZero. He was a creatively unique and colorful character in the neighborhood. Pete was part of an article in April, 2002 about Waverly artists in "Baltimore Magazine." Pete's art works are numerous. Leonard M. Bahr also drew his portrait [see also Leonard M. Bahr]. Pete died of heart failure Sept. 9, 2004, and is survived by 2 children and a brother.
