Comments: Pritchard (Nee: ) | Mannington WV | 1851-1900 | Comments: I have an old studio photograph identified only as “Mr. PRITCHARD” from Mannington, WV. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880’s or 1890’s with Mr. PRITCHARD appearing to be 12 - 15 years old at the time the photograph was taken. I believe that his last name is most likely PRICHARD since there were some families with that name in Mannington, WV at this time. It appears that the photograph may have been possessed by both “Maud SHOEMAKER” and “Josie M. METTS” at some point in the past since their names are noted on the back of the photograph and then crossed out.
We will likely have to do a photo comparison to get this photograph back to family since there is no first name and there are at least three possible matches according to my research. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me.
