Comments: Patrick Leo Purcell (Nee: ) | Tuam Ireland | | Comments: Patrick Leo Purcell, (20 Oct 1910-6 Nov 1934), who was known as Leo, was a son of Patrick Purcell (1882-1975) and Mary Bridget Reynolds (1881-1927). His siblings were, John, Mary, Josephine, Bridget, (known as Darlie), Margaret, Sheila, Eugene, Seamus and Patricia Purcell. He was a student Teacher. Leo passed away from TB at the age of 24 as so many of his generation did in Ireland of that time. Indeed, his Mother and two of his sisters died from the disease. He was predeceased by his brother John (Jack) in 1921, his Mother, Mary Bridget in 1927, his sister, Sr. Mary Laurentia Purcell (Australia) in 1932 and his sister, Margaret in 1933. He is buried with his Mother, his brother Jack and his sister, Margaret in Kilbricken Cemetery, Rosmuc, Co.Galway.
