Dead Fred's Genealogy Photo Archive, a free, fun photo genealogy research web site devoted to helping you visualize your heritage!

Dear readers,

Please help us keep DeadFred alive. 90% of our expenses are supported by donations averaging $5. Not many visitors contribute. If each visitor reading this right now gave $2, our fundraiser would be done by the time you finish reading this. That's right, the price of a large can of soda would do it.

If DeadFred is helpful to you, please take a moment to help us. We are a very small group of volunteers serving thousands of readers daily with very little outside support. DeadFred is a place to share and discover the faces of your ancestors. The funds we receive go toward maintaining and improving your chances of discovery. Please help us so we can continue to help you.

Thank you,
Joe Bott

They lived in and around Sebastian County, Arkansas and Yell County, Ark. and maybe another County in between. My mother was born at Bonanza, Ark in Sebastian Co. My grandparents were James Byrd Izell and Lena Evelyn Walker m, 1904, I think in Danville, Ark. They raised a family at Bonanza. My great-grandparents are William Henry Izell and Susan Adeline Hendrix, they probably married in either Arkansas or Alabama. He was born in 1844 near Montgomery, Alabama. She was supposed to have been born, possibly in Georgia. They are buried in the Mt. Zion Cemetary in Hackett, Ark.
