Comments: Thelma Kasl (Nee: ) | OK United States | 1901-1920 | Comments: I have an old postcard photograph of two young girls identified as Doras Marguerite KASL (age 3 years) and Beatrice Thelma KASL (age 6 1/2 years) which appears to have been taken some time between 1910 and 1922. There is no studio or location identified though I believe this is a photograph of Dorris KASL and Thelma Jean KASL.
Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding the two girls and their families:
Thelma Jean KASL was born 19 Dec 1905 in Oklahoma to parents Joseph William KASL (1878-1967) and Rose or Rosie or Rosa Jane LEATCH or LEHMANN (1889-1958) who were married 29 May 1904 in Payne County, OK. Thelma had a sister, Doris or Dorris D. KASL (b. 1908) and a brother Harris KASL (b. 1909).
Thelma married twice, first to Howard H. HARLSON (b. 1902) on 20 May 1928 in Payne County, OK and they had a daughter Beverly Joe HARLSON (1929-1995). Second, she married Albert Frederick FRICKE (1902-1975) and they had two daughters. Thelma died 16 Aug 1988 in Oklahoma City, OK and is buried there in the Spring Creek Memorial Cemetery.
Her sister Doris was born 15 July 1908 in Stillwater, OK to the same parents and married Hazel Rolla or Raleigh WILLIAMS (1904-1956) in June 1929 in Chandler County, OK. They divorced in 1936 in Oklahoma City, OK, but may have remarried later.
