Comments: Hulda Melvina Harris (Nee: Luck) | Mineral Va United States | 1851-1900 | Comments: Hulda (b 1835) was the daughter of Larkin Luck (b 1794) & Elizabeth Butler of Louisa, Va. She married John S Harris (b 1832) of Louisa. He died during the Civil War of typhoid in 1862. His parents are William & Martha Harris of Louisa, but I’m still searching for his parents’ family. Hulda’s brother Peter Luck married a King from what’s today’s Ashland Va. He was killed at the Battle of Chancellorsville in 1863. They had one son Thomas Luck. Rosa’s father Larkin Luck also died in 1863 of old age. Her daughter Rosa E Harris married Eugene Anderson (b 1858) Hulda married a James Tate of Caroline County many years later. Does anyone know of these families?
