Comments: Levi Gregory Metcalf (Nee: ) | Great Salt Lake City UT United States | 1851-1900 | Comments: Dated 13 September 1855, Levi G. Metcalf would have been 24 years old and would have just returned home to Springville Utah from the Elk Mountain Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The picture shows a womans lace handkerchief hanging from his side pocket, which probably belonged to his wife Melissa. Its believed that Metcalf was murdered by US soldiers at Fort Garland in Colorado in 1858.
