She was married to James McEvoy of Dundalk, Co. Louth. At the time of her death, her residence was 352 Griffith Avenue, Dublin. She died on 5 December 1973 in St. Mary's Hospital, Phoenix Park, Dublin. She was interred in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Dundalk with her late husband, James McEvoy.
