Comments: Roy Joseph Moore (Nee: ) | Pawnee City NE United States | 1901-1920 | Comments: I have an old studio photograph of Roy and John MOORE which was taken at the Wilson Studio in Pawnee City, NE in the early 1900's. The two young boys are identified as the children of Clyde & Myrtle MOORE. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding the MOORE boys: Roy Joseph MOORE was b. 13 Sept 1908 in Pawnee City, NE to parents Clyde MOORE (1881-1969) and Myrtle E. KLEPPER (1885-1963) who were married 24 Apr 1907 in Pawnee, NE. Roy was one of three children born to this family including brothers John Roger MOORE (1910-1985) and Charles William MOORE (1913-2009). Roy married Arlene Olivia GUNSELMAN (1922-1995) on 5 Jun 1939 in Savannah, MO and they had 7 children including Rose Marie; Joseph “Joe”; and William Clyde MOORE and four others, all born between 1940 and 1955. Roy died 16 Aug 1996 in Onaga or Holton, KS and is buried in the Olive Hill Cemetery in Soldier, KS. John Roger MOORE was b. 2 Nov 1910 in Clay, NE to the same parents and he married Rowena Evelyn RAY (1913-1989) on 20 Jan 1937. They had a daughter Carolyn K. MOORE (1942-2016) and a son. John died 30 Jul 1985 in Fairview, KS and is buried in the Isely Cemetery in Fairview, KS. I would like to get the photograph to family and would appreciate you contacting me regarding the photograph and this family if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be. Thanks, Shelley
