He has identifed his friend in the photo as "Louis Dammerman" from Altamont Illinois. Both soldiers were from Effingham County IL and training at Camp Zachary Taylor, Louisville KY. Becker later moved to Rutland Minnesota, and Dammerman to Logan County IL. A very nice clear image of these two Army buddies. Becker has dated the photo 8-11-18.
