Queen City Man Killed in Korea
New Hampshire today counted another son dead in the Korean
fighting. Latest casualty tabulations also list one missing and seven wounded.
Listed as dead is pfc Donald Perry, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs.
George H. Perry of 282 Prospect St., Manchester.
According to word recieved by the parents from the Department of
Defense, Private Perry died September 22 of injuries recieved in combat. He was one of
15 children, and three brothers served in World War II. Another brother is presently in the Navy.
Private Perry was serving with the Army Medical Corps. He is survived by his parents; eight
brothers, Robert of California, John in the Navy and George,James, Ralph, Walter, Raymond
and Steven all of this city.; six sisters, Mrs. Bertha Chestnut, Mrs. Gladys Weston, Mrs. Helene
Dupont, Misses Louise, Nancy and Shirley Perry, all of Manchester.
