Brennan, (1888-1962), of Chicago, Illinois was born to Patrick Brennan (1853-1915) and Ellen Frizzell (1860-1935) of Rhue, Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo. His siblings were Mary Anne DeVito (1885-1941), James Patrick Brennan (1886-1968), Margaret Teresa Walsh Carros (1890-1976) and Patrick J. Brennan (1892-1981). In WWI he served in France with Co A, 35th Engineers in La Rochelle. In civilian life he worked as an engineer with the Central Illinois Railroad. He married Mary Anne (Marion) Smith (1899-1975) in October 1922 in Chicago. They're buried in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Chicago.
