Sprague appears as frontispiece illustration to Agricultural Review and Journal of the American Agricultural Association, Supplement, vol.2, no.1, January 1882. There is a biographical essay of him on pages 174-176 of that volume. Please see that reference for additional information. Mr. Sprague was president of the American Agricultural Association. He was born at Mount Holly, Rutland County, Vermont, USA 22 June 1828. I am not researching this line, just saw the picture and thought I'd post it.
