Comments: Marshall Pinckney Wilder (Nee: ) | | 1835-1850 | Comments: This portrait of Marshall Pinckney Wilder (born in 1798 in NH) appears as the frontpiece in The Horticulturist and Journal of Rural Art and Rural Taste, ed. by AJ Downing, vol.III, July 1848 to June 1849. There is also biographical information on him in that volume on pages 14-18,438. He was quite involved in gardening and horticulture. His wife predeceased him, dying at home in Dorchester, Mass on 16 November 1885.
