It is not known where this photo was taken, but it was either in the Tymowa, Poland area, or the Scarbro, West Virginia area, ca. 1905. Blaze came to America in February 1903, his wife Maryanna and daughter came over in June 1905. So unless Blaze came back temporarily to Poland, this photo must have been taken in America, probably in West Virginia. If it was taken in America, then the guessed-at names of those standing could not be correct. Yet, the 3rd individual from the left, bears a striking resemblance to Blaze Kwasny. The photo was taken about 1904.
This photo was a copy in the possession of my family in Indiana, but came from the Blaze Kwasny side, who lived in the Detroit (Hamtramk), Michigan area from the 1910s on. Caroline Kwasny married Joe Kopera. Any information at all greatly appreciated. Thank you.
