They are Ninian Dolsen, his 2nd wife, Harriett and their three sons: Walter, Milton and Edward. They originated in Ontario, Canada and moved to Cedarville, Michigan. Ninian was a carpenter and cabinet maker, and later became a Methodist minister. He built a log church in Cedarville. He and two of his sons are buried in the cemetary in Cedarville. Also shown in the photo are Ninian's wife, Harriet (Collins), and their sons Walter (at the back), Milton and Edward. Ninian was the son of Isaac D. Dolsen and the grandson of Daniel Dolsen. The name is sometimes spelled ''Dolson''.
