Reed .The Reed's moved to Iowa in the 1850s from Courtland Co. New York..... Mr. Bentley's father moved to Allamakee Co. in 1857 from Illinois, and founded the original Episcopal Church there . includes cabinet portraits of Jennie Reed Bentley and H. J. as younger folks, two gropu pictures of their children Reed, Ruth, and Grant (the one including their mother) from the 1880s (the kids were born in 1880, 1882, and 1886), a portrait of their son Reed as a young man, and a wonderful portrait of the elderly Henry sitting by a beautiful lit fireplace... and of course H. J. 's Obit... (he died in 1937, Jennie in 1913 according to his Obituary...
