Dead Fred's Genealogy Photo Archive, a free, fun photo genealogy research web site devoted to helping you visualize your heritage!

Dear readers,

We need your help. 90% of our expenses are covered by donations averaging $10, though not many visitors contribute. If each visitor reading this right now gave $2, we would have enough to operate DeadFred for a year. That's right, the price of a bottle of soda would do it. If DeadFred is helpful to you, please take a moment to help us. We are a very small group of volunteers serving thousands of readers daily with very little outside support. DeadFred is a place to share and discover the faces of your ancestors. The funds we receive go toward maintaining and improving your chances of discovery. Please help us so we can continue to help you.

Thank you,
Joe Bott

Comments: Mercy Meranda Campbell (Nee: Hill) | UT | | Comments: Mercy Meranda Hill was born in 1807 in Connecticut. She was the daughter of Benjamin Hill and Jerusha Fawner. She married in 1828 Joel Campbell. They were the parents of 13 children. 7 of the children were born in New York and the rest were born in Ohio. As they were preparing to go to Utah, Joel died in Mt. Pisgah, Iowa. She moved on without him. She was in Utah by the 1850 census. She married Lemuel Mallory in 1861 and they were in Idaho for a while. I don't know if she and Lemuel were divorced. In 1860 they were living together in Brigham Ut. By 1880 she had resumeed the Campbell last name and was living in Bloomington Idaho. She died in Bloomington in 1881 and is buried there as Mercy Campbell
