From: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~nrmh/McCombs/not01.htm#2869 BIOGRAPHY: Alvin Albert McCombs ("Albert") was born in Trenton, Utah, and lived much of his life in Cache Valley, in Utah and Idaho. When he was 18 years old, his father was killed in a logging accident. His mother was expecting his youngest sister at the time. Five years later, he married and began his own family. He was a farmer, growing sugar beets and alfalfa. He also worked in the sugar factory. Relatives who knew him say he was likeable and easy-going. He died in Heyburn, Idaho, of a brain tumor at age 50, not long after his first grandchild was born.
