Comments: Samuel Thomas Collins (Nee: ) | MO | 1901-1920 | Comments: this is my maternal great grandfather. His family lived mostly around the Henry county area of Missouri. The young boy is his son, Leo, who was born in 1900 in Missouri. Samuel was born in Missouri about 1877 and "disappeared" around 1912 after fathering 6 children. Family stories say he was "friendly" with the Indians, and that he would take off for months at a time.
