All identifying and genealogical information was provided by the seller on eBay with the photograph. However, in *some* cases I may have done a little research on the name and added it to the comment field also as, "NOTE:", to help researchers with the photograph. *** MORTIMER E. MILBURN: This is a cabinet card of a cute child holding a pull toy. The toy is a horse and cart. The child is id’d on the reverse as "Mortimer E. Milburn, Age 2 yrs." It was taken in 1885 by R. M. Furman, photographer of Rochester, N.Y. *** (NOTE: Quick census search finds a Mortimer Milburn in Rochester, Monroe County, NY on the 1900, 1910 & 1930 census. Mortimer was born March, 1883 in NY. Father's name was William H. Milburn, born 1847, Canada. Mother was Margarite or Margaretta, possible maiden name "Curran" born 1860, NY. It appears Mortimer was an only child, per various census. His father died before 1910, and it appears his mother may have died before 1930. Mortimer worked for the railroad in 1930, he is single and appears to have not married by that time (age 47.) His aunt, "Elizabeth Curran" (mother's sister) is living in the household from the 1910 census to the 1930 census. It appears the Milburn's originated in England, and the Curran's in Ireland and Scotland.
