Comments: Family Photo Stanton (Nee: ) | Norwich CT | 1851-1900 | Comments: I believe this to be a Stanton portrait of Asenath (Preston) Stanton & her husband Turner Stanton with their children who's names are below. They lived in Norwich, New London CT. Photo is from my grandfather's album. His name is George Medill Fenner 1st b.1886 in Providence RI His father Frank Warner Fenner b abt 1853 who married Lillian Bertha (Birdy) Stanton b 1854 d. abt1932. Lillian is one of the children of Turner and Asenath. Lillian migrated to MO. bet. 1880 and 1889 with her two sons, one was also named Frank and the other George Medill Fenner 1st. Frank Warner Fenner appears to have stayed behind. Any Stanton relatives who might recognize someone from this photo or who have info to share on the Fenner or Stanton lines from RI, CT or MO. please contact me. Vigro@adelphia.net Asenath and Turner seem to have had quite a few children. I have questions to clear up on a couple but will include them all. These are the names of the Stanton children of Asenath and Turner oldest to youngest. Daniel P, Abby, George P, Lydia, Freelove, Remus, Romulus, Josephine Cleadore, E leanore, Thaler T, Lillian B, Willie Ann. There may be a Teatone and I have a questions about Romulus. This picture shows what may be two sets of twins. Remus Romulus and Cleadore E leanore (Eleanore?)
