Comments: Henry T Lee (Nee: ) | Los Angeles Ca | 1851-1900 | Comments: I do not have the photo .. only a digital copy Civil War. CDV. ID'd to 4th NY Hvy Arty. A cdv of Captain Henry T. Lee. Captain Lee was mustered September 25, 1861, as First Lieutenant. He became Captain of Company A on January 4, 1865, and was promoted to Major a few months later. According to Kirk, in Heavy Guns and Light (New York, 1890), he went through the war without even a wound, but did receive seven bullet-holes through his clothing at Sutherland's Station. After the war he entered the legal profession, and at the turn of the century was living in Los Angeles. The backmark reads *Charles D. Fredricks & Co., 587 Broadway, New York.*
