Simeon B. Robinson was born Feb. 9, 1845 in SC. and moved with his parents and siblings to Ms. when 5 years old by wagon train. The journey took several months. At the age of 16 he joined the confederacy. Co. G, 21st reg. He served the duration of the war and was paroled at Appomattox, being the last one of his company. He married Mattie Douglas and was the father of Horace, Hattie, Mattie and Donie.
His parents were Joseph William Robinson and Emily Madeline Culler.
