Comments: FRANCIS MARGUERITE HANSON (Nee: ) | CHICAGO IL USA | 1851-1900 | Comments: FOUND! 1/24/2021 Info provided by John "Frank and Margaret were married 25 Jun 1892 in Chicago and had a single child, Frances Mrgt. on 18 Oct 1893. Frances was their only child and never married. I do not know ancestry of Frank Hanson. Margaret Josephine Coffey (4 Jan 1873 - 6 Oct 1964) was the daughter of Patrick Coffey and Maria M. Sullivan (27 Sep 1853 - 4 Nov 1928. (I have a photo of Maria.) They were married 30 Oct 1871 in Chicago. By 1880 they had had two children, the second being Catherine Theresa (1874-1930). By 1880, Patrick has disappeared and Maria had him declared dead. The remnant of the family is indexed by Ancestry and FamilySearch in the 1880 census of Chicago under Jas Sulaven, Maria's older brother. The census entries are botched in a number of respects, but it is that family. The Tom listed in the census is her father. Maria's mother and three daughters had moved to Mt. Clemen's, Mich by that time. Although Margaret Hanson is buried in Chicago, she dies in Detroit, perhaps visiting a sister there. Maria Sullivan Coffey remarried on 6 May 1890 to Frances Luther Lester and had a third child, Vivian May in 1892.Maria Sullivan Coffey Lester was born 4 Jan 1873 in Grafton, Wis., the daughter of Thomas Sullivan (c1802-1881) and Mary Ann Fitzgerald (c1820-1884). Thomas was a widower when he married Mary Ann on 7 Mar 1840 at Joliet, Ill. Mary Ann was from Pallas Grean, Co Limerick. I have no other information about her origins. Thomas' first wife was Ellen Stack. The couple lived near Cashel, Co Tipperary. Three of their children survived their mother who died in Ireland and ended up re-joining their father in the US ============================================================================================== FRANK,MARGARET & FRANCIS HANSON////This photo with associated information as well as many other photos were bequeathed to DeadFreds Archive by Marge Rice upon her passing .
