" Notes : (*1) : On 1st of December 1918 was founded Great Romania after WW I by unification of all regions where lived in majority Romanians . This was possible by the efforts of our great Queen Mary of Romania (granddaughter of Queen Victoria of British Empire) who negotiated with French President , Clemenceau and American President , Woodrow Wilson . Every year , this day , Romanians celebrated (like today too) by participating in dance performances , patriotic poetry and theater plays with historical themes . (*2) : "1939-1940" means the school year bt the photo was taken on 1st of December 1939
