Comments: (Nee: ) | | 1851-1900 | Comments: Hoping to identify the people in this photo. We believe the boy is our fathers father; *perhaps* Frank Zaller, or something similar. Our father, Jim, was born out of wedlock on May 15, 1930 to Miss Margaret Vawter. His father was a married man; likely from Nebraska, Iowa, or Minnesota. Jim kept very few photos & this one was in his dresser drawer, by itself. The boy looks remarkably like our father at that age, and like our older brother. The little girl in the photo looks like our older sister. All those in this photo have no doubt passed away by now, as have Margaret & our father, James Courtright. We would merely like to connect the dots. Our only other clue was a conversation overheard in the 1950’s by our uncle: Jim’s natural father was, or was connected to, a “noted surgeon out of Omaha”. Thanks, *kw
