She married once at the age of 37 to John Jost Slapper, who is pictured with her in this photograph. She was his second wife, the stepmother to his first four children. She had two daughters of her own with him as well, Bessie (Dundas) Slapper and Agnes Leah (Dundas) Slapper. The two girls married the same man, Leah first, then Bessie after Leahs death in her early 20s. She died on July 28, 1938 at the age of 90.
