Comments: HARRY HOUSER (Nee: ) | Pa | 1901-1920 | Comments: Great photo postcard of Harry Houser sent to his grandmother "Mrs Jacob W. Baer", Hempfield Township, Greenville PA. Although Harrys surname is not on the postcard, I had to do a little research to figure out who he was.
Was able to confirm from genealogy records and a few old newspaper references.
Harry Houser was the son of Lila Baer (William Houser) who was the daughter of Jacob & Anna Baer.
The postmark is Stoneboro PA, Feb 1911, with a typewritten note to his "grandma", and has a photo of Harry in his study reading a newspaper. Harry was born in 1893, so would have been only 18 years old.
