Her parents were Ezra Miel Carr and Lucy Jane Bell. Ida was an only child and she never married. She died in 1928 at the age of 49. Per census records she was a school teacher. Her father was a physician. This picture was supplied by the Pipestone County Historical Society and is from a collection of glass plate negatives that were donated to the society in the 1980s.
