Comments: (Nee: ) | | 1901-1920 | Comments: I know very little about this photograph, and whether or not I am related to this man, but I would love any leads anyone could give me! Photo taken by Eastland Studios - Connection of this man to the Serrin's is unknown. Found with Serrin photographs. Very large photograph. Documents/letter to Speaker of the House found tucked inside portfolio cover that contained this photograph. Ethnicity unknown, but assume Native American in the DC area. -- Update: Showed photograph and documents to University of Maryland Archivist. He dated the letters between 1912-1917, before the outbreak of the first World War. He's not sure if there is a connection between the Native American depicted and the documents found within. Judging by the documents' condition, he figured that the other pages may have been burned (see burn marks). However, he encouraged me to take a look around the basement.
