Dead Fred's Genealogy Photo Archive, a free, fun photo genealogy research web site devoted to helping you visualize your heritage!

Dear readers,

We need your help. 90% of our expenses are covered by donations averaging $10, though not many visitors contribute. If each visitor reading this right now gave $2, we would have enough to operate DeadFred for a year. That's right, the price of a bottle of soda would do it. If DeadFred is helpful to you, please take a moment to help us. We are a very small group of volunteers serving thousands of readers daily with very little outside support. DeadFred is a place to share and discover the faces of your ancestors. The funds we receive go toward maintaining and improving your chances of discovery. Please help us so we can continue to help you.

Thank you,
Joe Bott

Comments: Arthur Copeland (Nee: ) | Seneca Falls NY United States | 1851-1900 | Comments: This picture of Rev. Arthur Copeland appears in the Saturday Globe, vol.XVIII, no.24, (Utica, New York) Saturday October 29, 1898. Please see that reference for more details. He was born in Clarendon, NY approximately 1859. He graduated from Syracuse University and following that was engaged in journalism and became associate editor of the New York Voice. In 1885 he began work in the ministry while in Cator, NY. He was a pastor of the First M. E. and Trinity M. E. Churches in Auburn, Clyde, Penn Yan and Seneca Falls, NY. He wrote extensively for the religious press and also travelled in Europe. That is all the information I have on this picture. I am not researching this line, just saw the photo and thought I'd post it.
